Onion Strings

Slice sweet onions (vidalia or some other sweet onion) very thin with a mandolin slicer.  You could use a food processor as well.
Sprinkle with a little olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
Stir well so that they are evenly mixed.
Spread on dehydrator trays (do not need teflex sheets).
Dehydrate at 125 degrees F until crisp (usually 24-30 hours).
You may want to move your dehydrator to a porch or garage, as the onions are very aromatic when being dehydrated.
